NewstraderFX Mission StatementMy theory is to NOT do what most do retail traders do, which is to be constantly looking for trades. The big thing I stress is that the main reason most traders fail is because they over-trade. People are always looking to get into a trade and will find any reason to do so when what they really need to be doing is waiting for the really good trading opportunities to appear. These opportunities come after one or more important fundamental events, something that doesn't happen every day or even every week. They key then is to be able to recognize them and understand how markets will be affected by them. So that's what the room is really about - breaking all the old ideas and myths which, for the most part, don't really work in the long run anyway. Although there are some technical indicators which can be useful, for the most part you can't predict where price will go in the future based upon where it's gone in the past. Understanding fundamentals will help you to do the essential thing for longer term profits - trade to where the market is going rather than to where it's been. ~Matt "NewstraderFX" CarniolView All My Past TradesWe're off to a roaring start, so if you are interested in seeing the room performance, Matt is making all his past trades available for viewing via our forums!
